Zembo Shriners are proud to support the Shriners Childrens®!

Our Shrine primarily supports the Philadelphia location, with the Boston location being our secondary hospital.

Since the founding of our first Shriners Hospital in 1922, treating orthopedic conditions has been the foundation of Shriners Childrens®!

The diseases and disorders treated are wide-ranging and diverse. Whether the team is treating bone deformities such as clubfoot, neuromuscular conditions such as cerebral palsy or genetic anomalies such as achondroplasia, their goal is to help each child become as functional and healthy as possible!

With the largest full-time staff of pediatric orthopedic surgeons in the United States, as well as a comprehensive team of physical, occupational, speech and other therapists, our hospitals are able to treat each child with a customized approach based on their overall health and medical conditions.

Patient Referrals

Each location handles a different range of issues.

To find out what is treated, and which hospital can help, or for more information about a particular condition, contact your local Shriners Hospitals for Children directly or call 1 (800) 237-5055 in the U.S., or 1 (800) 361-7256 in Canada.

Patient Sponsorship and Transportation Services

Zembo Shrine sponsors hospital patients in the following Pennsylvania counties: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Perry, York, and the western half of Lancaster.

If you live outside of these counties, you will be referred to a different Shrine Center for sponsorship.

Please contact our business office at (717) 238-8107 or [email protected] if you need assistance with transportation to an appointment at the Philadelphia Hospital.

All assistance requests must be preapproved by the Zembo business office at least two weeks in advance of the patient’s appointment.  A complete listing of our transportation program’s policies and procedures are available upon request.
